Short Race started in Fall of 2008 hosted by Samuel Proof and Co-Host Amy Vorpahl. Short Race is both a video contest and live streaming web show with a chat room. Vistors to the chat room are presented with 3 categories and suggestions are taken live from the chat room to create a unique video mission each week. On top of the video mission, each team pulls a wild card that is unique to that team alone.

Each team then has 100 hours to complete a video using the video mission and their wild card.

Short Race is currently on Hiatus, but rumored to be coming back in 2009 on a new time and day.
